IN THE KITCHEN
True Blue Bakery is the bouncing baby joey, the cute and fluffy bundle of joy, of Roy and Fiona: two Aussies who took up residence in Pennsylvania in late 2017. Feeling a bit homesick and missing the cuisine of their homeland, they decided to cure the homesickness the best way possible—by making traditional Aussie meat pies and pastries from their new home in Pennsylvania.
Roy is a second-generation baker with over 20 years of experience, which means he couldn’t just bake any meat pie. It had to be the best, flakiest, butteriest meat pie possible, so while Roy perfected the pastry, Fiona developed the fillings.
